Dr. Vijay Soni is the CEO of Lifestar Pharma, leading the company since its inception in 2016. With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he brings deep expertise across business development, portfolio management, intellectual property, legal, regulatory affairs, R&D, and strategic licensing.
Dr. Soni has an exceptional track record in building organizations and developing global businesses in the generic pharmaceutical space—from product conceptualization through commercialization. He is known for his sound decision-making, risk mitigation, customer focus, and ability to resolve complex business challenges in dynamic markets.
Before Lifestar Pharma, Dr. Soni achieved significant business successes with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (USA), and Ranbaxy Laboratories.
He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.
As Lifestar Pharma’s Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning & Operations, Parimal oversees multiple functions influencing the growth trajectory of the organization, including Strategic aspects of Portfolio management and Business Development. Parimal is also responsible for Operational aspects of the Supply Chain organization.
Parimal brings with him over 35 years of experience in various leadership roles in the industry, including P&L, Strategy, Business Development, Portfolio, Project and Alliance Management, Supply Chain and Marketing across diverse global markets (US, EU and India & neighboring markets).
Prior to joining Lifestar Pharma, Parimal worked with Accord Healthcare (Intas Pharma), Dr. Reddy’s, Pharmacia & Upjohn (now Pfizer), Astra-IDL (now AstraZeneca) and Unisearch.
David Gann serves as Senior Vice President of Commercialization at Lifestar Pharma, where he leads the company’s U.S. commercialization strategy across the generic pharmaceutical portfolio. With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, David specializes in product launches, pricing and contracting strategy, and supply chain optimization to ensure that critical therapies reach patients efficiently and affordably.
At Lifestar, David oversees sales operations, distribution partnerships, and customer engagement with a focus on hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and wholesalers. His leadership has been instrumental in driving growth through disciplined execution, data-driven decision making, and long-standing relationships with buyers and healthcare partners.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, David is passionate about bridging global manufacturing with U.S. healthcare delivery, ensuring that quality, affordable medicines are available to providers and patients nationwide.
Prakash is Senior Vice President handling responsibilities for Finance, HR and IT functions.
He has over three decades of senior strategic finance and business leadership with well rounded experience in Business finance, Business transformative strategies, Audit compliances, Commercial finance and Governance. He has been successful in implementation of Revenue Management systems as well as IT integration projects.
Prakash has created a backend team that supports various initiatives for the business leading to overall business compliances.
His legacy of rich knowledge gained through extensive experience in healthcare companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Wockhardt, Glenmark and Taro Pharmaceuticals over the last 30 years has helped him grow personally and professionally.
Prakash is an active speaker and panelist at various Finance forums and conferences within the Industry.
